Guests will enjoy tours of Old Baldy Lighthouse and Museum\, a Southern barbecue picnic prepared by Southern Smoke\, live music from DJ Fray\, local craft beer and spirits\, raffles\, and a live reenactment of the Battle of Fort George. Getting to Bald Head Island is easy whether you’re coming from Southport\, Wilmington\, Raleigh\, or anywhere else on the mainland. We’ve chartered a ferry to carry you across the Cape Fear River\, the same passage British troops would have taken 250 years ago. *A short walk is required to get from the ferry to Old Baldy grounds* \nQuestions: Visit the Old Baldy Foundation website for the full weekend schedule of events | Contact Old Baldy Foundation at (910) 457-7481 or Adriana@OldBaldy.org \n \nSchedule of Events: \n\n12:00 PM – 12:30 PM – Mainland ticket holders arrive to Deep Point Marina for ferry charter check-in\n2:30 PM – 5:30 PM – Southern Smoke BBQ available\n3:30 PM – Battle of Fort George Second Reenactment\n5:45 PM – Event winds down and mainland guests return to the marina for ferry departure\n\nFerry Information for ticket holders traveling to Bald Head Island on the private charter: \n\nCharter Location – Deep Point Marina\, 1301 Ferry Road\, Southport\, NC.\nParking – Individuals are responsible for their own parking in the Deep Point Ferry lot.\nArrival and Check-in Time – Arrive at Deep Point Marina by 12:30 PM on September 6 to receive your wristband.\nTerminal Location – Event volunteers will direct you to the dock terminal upon arrival. The exact dock location will be provided when you register in the second-floor lobby.\nOn-Island Transport – Short walk from the ferry terminal to Old Baldy grounds.\nEvent Departure – Return to Bald Head ferry terminal by 5:45 PM to board the 6:00 PM departure ferry.
